Since 1 January 2019, Nifty Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) index has corrected 24% as compared to 4% of Nifty 50. This implies that stocks in the PSU space have corrected sharply and are available at very cheap valuations. As of date, price/earnings (PE) ratio of Nifty PSE index stands at a very attractive 10x as compared to 26x of Nifty 50.
